“This year has been a resounding success for all my brothers in our fishing. Josh caught over a dozen northern pike and everyone else got a least 4 northern or perch to call our own. We dined on fresh fish 2 days in a row. I’ve had a great time fishing , playing cards and telling jokes with my brothers here. It was also great to see Sandy and Jerry again as well a meet Mary and Marty.”

“Cabin 7 was the best cabin that I ever stayed in. I loved fishing with Chuck Emery. He was the best. On the last day we were out all day and I and an 8 year old girl caught 4 walleye, 1 northern and 2 perch. That is 7 in total. I loved the pontoon boat, but I almost hooked my sister with one of my Dad’s lures. I loved the trampoline .”

To walk about without a wallet, to leave the cabin unlocked, secure in the knowledge that this beautiful resort is a safe place, maintained by loving, caring people.” “Thank God there is no television in this cabin. We spent the night talking and I read to the children from a book called “A Wrinkle in Time”. “Chuck Emery is an awesome guide. His knowledge of Leech Lake and its slippery inhabitants really made this trip memorable. Yes, it broke my heart to throw back those 23” walleye, but it felt good to know I was doing my part to keep Leech Lake populated with the most amazing fish I have ever seen.”
